I started Compact Construction because after more than 20 years in the industry I got tired of watching careful plans get derailed by careless digging and costly cleanup/repairs.

There’s a real art to working around critical underground services — gas, water, power, fibre — and too often the tried-and-true methods either put those services at risk or left the site looking a shambles. I wanted a better way: an approach that protects infrastructure, cuts disposal bills, and keeps the jobsite tidy.
